Usually when we talk about getting into a routine, it is generally negative. But lately, I feel like I could use a good routine. I started working a new shift and I am having a hard time getting settled with the new hours.
Now the issue is not at work, but it is with my mornings. Now that I don’t have to go into work until 10 am, I find that some mornings I am very productive, and others are squandered away. The dead space has been throwing me off. Some mornings I read, some mornings I do my bible study, some mornings I eat breakfast and drink my coffee, and others I knock out some chores. But no two mornings have been the same yet. I guess I am more regimented than I once thought. Maybe I need to find that routine that will help me be productive everyday? My fear is that I will get into the dreaded routine where I am just going through the motions day in and day out. It is time to find a good healthy balance.
