What’s one thing you see everyday but you may not realize it? Power lines. I find it interesting that with all the great technology that we have we still use power lines and telephone poles. You would think that we would have better technology or maybe buried cables.
But what do those power lines do? Where do they go? How do they work? They’re a vital part of our infrastructure but we ignore them everyday. Can you tell me where the closest power line is to your house? No, but your lights come on so we don’t think about it. There’s one power line near our house, it’s so powerful that it creates a cellphone dead spot. And even if you walk under it, you can hear the electricity running through the lines. The past few days I have been thinking about the power lines as I drive by.
Where do you get your power? Not the power for your house, but the power to get you out of bed in the morning. Is it something that we can see? Is it as powerful as the power lines that makes your electricity work? Do you wish you could tap into some more power? Or are you content with the way things are?
Look around. See where your power is coming from. Find your personal power source, I know what mine is. Are there things that are draining you? Try turning them off. Make sure more is being poured into you than you are putting out.
